Goodbye, 2025
As the famous saying goes, there are years when decades happen
Well, folks… we made it.
We had already covered a lot of craziness in the 5+ years we’ve been doing this show, and once 2025 kicked off with the official start of Donald Trump’s second term as US president, the insanity of America’s spectacular ongoing decline seemed to exponentially escalate.
And through it all this year, we were able to break down the stories of the week, every week, and somehow maintain our grip on reality.
We certainly couldn’t have pulled it off without the contributions of a truly outstanding roster of all-star guests like Gianmarco Soresi, Prem Thakker, Josephine Reisman, Seth Harp, Kat Abughazaleh, Haus of Decline, Daniel Maté, and so many more.
If we had one regret for this year, it would be that we still, despite our tireless efforts, have not been able to solve the Ken Klippenstein problem. We resolve to do better.
To everyone that has been listening throughout 2025 and supporting the work that we do here, we just wanted to say thank you! We’d say that maybe things will be different in 2026, and that maybe we can cover more stories that leave us feeling hopeful and optimistic about the future of America and the rest of the world, but we all know that is not what is going to happen.
