Emma Vigeland of The Majority Report and ESVN (the Emma Sports Vigeland Network) joins us to discuss Ilhan Omar’s removal from the House Foreign Affairs committee by House Republicans. Omar was one of the best voices, if not the best, on the committee and offered a strong anti-imperialist, anti-war perspective. We talk about her time on the committee and the impacts her removal will have.
And since Emma is a New York sports die-hard, we get into how the Knicks and Rangers are looking, as well as some Super Bowl talk. We also try to convince Rob to watch more hockey, because it’s fun.

Next week, we’re trying something new for our beloved paid interns. We’re going to use the Substack Live Chat feature for upcoming events like the State of the Union, the Super Bowl, the Oscars and more. Come watch and react along with us. You’ll need the Substack app (I believe) to participate, then just check the chat tab at the bottom and you’ll see us in there. Will be a ton of fun. The State of the Union is on Tuesday, February 7 at 9 pm ET.
