Rob talked to Jesse Hawken, host of the Junk Filter podcast, about Donald Trump’s recent threats to Canada to institute tariffs or possible just annex the country if we don’t solve the crisis of fentanyl-dealing migrants sneaking across the border, a problem which, as far as anyone understands, doesn’t seem to be based in reality. The reaction from the Canadian political and media class has been very revealing as to the true nature of the Canada/US relationship.
Also revealing: the flippant response on social media to the murder of United Healthcare CEO Brian Thompson, in which the seething anger and resentment that many Americans feel about the health insurance industry, and the exploitative ruling class in general, was on full display.
