Incoming trans member of Congress, Sarah McBride, has been on the receiving end of a vitriolic wave of attacks led by Nancy Mace on which bathroom Sarah can use. This transphobic attack, coupled with Trump’s pledge to purge the military of trans servicemembers, are just the beginning of what we can expect will be a constant onslaught of attacks on our trans friends. Democrats have an obligation to stand up to Republicans but instead the continued insistence that trans issues cost Democrats the election—which is not true—persists. We talk about the “bathroom distraction” fight, reports that Kamala Harris is eyeing a run of some sort in 2026 or 2028, and the “riots” in Montreal.
