We explore how the writers banded together as the studios repeatedly insisted their demands were outlandish and would never happen. The wins they achieved together are a lesson in the importance of collective bargaining and Ben shares the sentiment in the room as the WGA learned about the deal they had won.
Then we sat down with Dave Weigel of Semafor to recap the second GOP debate. We of course revisited Chris Christie’s “Donald Duck” slam on Donald Trump, how the field was ready to respond to Vivek Ramaswamy’s eagerness, and ultimately what they’re even doing since polling shows nobody running even comes close to competing with Trump.
